Heateron metallizes precision ceramic components for military, medical, and aerospace applications. Our metallized parts are used in critical assemblies brazed by our in-house team or by other brazing suppliers and OEMs. Our metallization creates a strong and robust bond to many different ceramic bodies and has nearly universal applicability for ceramic to metal brazing.
Metallization applies a thin metallic coating to an area of ceramic parts. Heateron’s metalized ceramics have a superior brazing characteristic. The thin metallic coating includes molybdenum manganese (Mo/Mn) and tungsten (W). After metallic coating, they will be plated with nickel, gold, silver, and so on.
HEATERON Ceramic Production Process
The plating method is electroplating. Depending on the ceramic size and the position of metalized, it will decide to barrel or hang plating.
The Mo/Mn thickness is 10-50um, nickel plating is 2-10um. It is flexible. We can do it according to your request.
As experts in different applications, Heateron is available to do metalizing on the plate, rod, tube, and complex ceramic bodies.
