Metallized Ceramics
HEATERON supplies Metalized Alumina Ceramics.
The based insulator materials is alumina. Alumina is one of the most commonly used engineering ceramic materials. The purity is 94-96% alumina ceramic.
Features of alumina ceramics.
- High hardness
- Wear resistance
- Excellent electrical insulation properties
Ccommon metallized alumina ceramics. Coated with molybdenum and manganese and followed by nickel plating. Mo/Mn thickness is about 10-50um, Ni plating 2-10um.
The metallized ceramics are usually using under high vacuum, high voltage and high pressure applications.
Major applications:
Power grid tubes
Vacuum interrupters
RF windows
Metallized rings and components for insulators and sensors
Ceramic feedthroughs
Vacuum feedthroughs
